The Shaw 950 is a traditional style cruiser-racer that offers sufficient internal volume for standing headroom and all the comforts for family cruising, while being a competitive club and coastal racer.

Systems are set up so the boat is manageable for a regular club-racing crew to enjoy sailing the boat and extract a high level of the boat's potential. It hs a fixed keel and a diesel inboard.

Construction is underway, with glass laminates over a foam core, and a carbon rig.
